I've downloaded the Killer Ethernet driver WITH AND WITHOUT the utility but neither of them seems to work, the same issue occurs over and over again with each boot. I installed the drivers through the accopanying driver disk that MSI included with the motherboard but this is just so annoying.

I've reinstalled the Killer Ethernet LAN e2200 driver like 5 times, downgraded from windows 10 to windows 7 and done a variety of other steps to try and figure out why this is happening but I just don't know what else to do. All the while i'm going to control pannel and then trying to "diagnose" the internet issue. I am assuming this is a driver issue because of the reinstall of windows but I can not find any drivers f. The router is fine, but on the motherboard there is a flashing yellow light where you plug in the cord. The annoying part is, this entire process takes approx 5 minutes after boot up for the computer to recognize that there is internet. I recently had to reinstal windows and now my pc is not seeing the ethernet connection. What happens is, the ethernet computer icon on the start bar tray shows a red X and then changes to a yellow exclamation mark and then finally the internet works. My issue is: when my computer first boots up it does not recognize the physical ethernet LAN connection that is connected to the only ethernet socket on the back of the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard. I'm posting today because i've just built my very first PC and everything seems to be working reasonably fine except for one particular issue which i've tried to fix for several days but cannot seem to fix.
